Luna Moth

A green moth in a distressed gold frame with bold beading & textured black outer edge

Please note: I have discounted this piece slightly due to a small imperfection on the side of the frame; I'm concerned that trying to remove this "flaw" may cause greater damage. It isn't terribly distracting, but does stand out a bit beyond what the expected distressing of this frame should be (see photos)

Read artist statement

✷ The inner walls of the frame will be lined with hand-cut strips of mat board that complement the piece. Hanging hardware + artist signature on back of frame.

✷ The materials I use are often vintage, secondhand, and/or repurposed from remnants, and therefore may have minor imperfections that add to the overall character of the piece. Any flaws that I consider potentially more bothersome are shown in greater detail.

✷ The frame and painting are one complete piece; the glass is attached in a way that is intended to be permanent, and attempting to remove the glass from the frame will result in destruction of the artwork.
